حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو النَّضْرِ وَحَسَنُ بْنُ مُوسَى قَالَا حَدَّثَنَا زُهَيْرٌ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الزُّبَيْرِ قَالَ حَسَنٌ فِي حَدِيثِهِ عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ عَنْ جَابِرٍ قَالَ قَالَ امْرَأَةُ بَشِيرٍ انْحَلْ ابْنِي غُلَامَكَ وَأَشْهِدْ لِي رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ فَأَتَى رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَ إِ
نَّ ابْنَةَ فُلَانٍ سَأَلَتْنِي أَنْ أَنْحَلَ ابْنَهَا غُلَامِي وَقَالَتْ وَأَشْهِدْ لِي رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَ أَلَهُ إِخْوَةٌ قَالَ نَعَمْ فَقَالَ فَكُلَّهُمْ أَعْطَيْتَ مِثْلَ مَا أَعْطَيْتَهُ قَالَ لَا قَالَ فَلَيْسَ يَصْلُحُ هَذَا وَإِنِّي لَا أَشْهَدُ إِلَّا عَلَى حَقٍّ

English Translation
Abu al-Nadr and Hasan ibn Musa narrated to us, both said: Zuhayr narrated to us, Abu al-Zubayr narrated to us — Hasan said in his narration: from Abu al-Zubayr — from Jabir (رضي الله عنه), who said: "The wife of Bashir said (to him): 'Give my son your slave as a gift and have the Messenger of Allah ﷺ witness it for me.' So he came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and said: 'The daughter of so-and-so asked me to give her son my slave as a gift and to have you witness it.' He said: 'Does he have siblings?' He said: 'Yes.' He said: 'Have you given all of them the same as you have given him?' He said: 'No.' He said: 'Then this is not right. I will not witness except what is just. And I will not testify to injustice.'"
