English Translation

Zayd ibn al-Hubab narrated to us, 'Ayyash ibn 'Uqbah narrated to us, Khayr ibn Nu'aym narrated to me, from Abu al-Zubayr, from Jabir (رضي الله عنه), from the Prophet ﷺ, who said: "The ten days (mentioned in the Quran) are the ten days of Dhul-Hijjah (the first ten days of the month of sacrifice). The odd day (al-watr) is the Day of 'Arafah (the ninth). And the even day (al-shaf') is the Day of Sacrifice (Eid al-Adha, the tenth)."
