English Translation

Yahya ibn Adam narrated to us, Hasan ibn 'Ayyash — the brother of Abu Bakr — narrated to us, from Ja'far ibn Muhammad, from his father, from Jabir (رضي الله عنه), who said: "We used to pray Jumu'ah with the Prophet ﷺ, then go back and rest our camels." Ja'far said: "I said to my father: 'At what time was that?' He said: 'When the sun had passed its zenith (zawal).'"
