English Translation

Abu Ahmad narrated to us, 'Abd al-Hamid narrated to us, from 'Uqbah ibn 'Abd al-Rahman, from Jabir (رضي الله عنه), who said: "We used to pray Maghrib with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, then return to Banu Salamah, and we could still see where our arrows would land." Meaning: they would return while there was still enough light to see, indicating the Prophet ﷺ prayed Maghrib at its earliest time.
