Chain of Narration (Isnad)

حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا ثَابِتٌ عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ لَهُ حَادٍ جَيِّدُ الْحُدَاءِ وَكَانَ حَاد

ِيَ الرِّجَالِ وَكَانَ أَنْجَشَةُ يَحْدُو بِأَزْوَاجِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَلَمَّا حَدَا أَعْنَقَتْ الْإِبِلُ فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَيْحَكَ يَا أَنْجَشَةُ رُوَيْدًا سَوْقَكَ بِالْقَوَارِيرِ

English Translation

Affan narrated to us, Hammad narrated to us, he said: Thabit informed us, from Anas ibn Malik (رضي الله عنه), that the Prophet ﷺ had a camel-driver who was good at chanting. He was the driver for the men, and Anjasha used to drive for the women. the Prophet ﷺ said: 'O Anjasha, be gentle with the glass vessels (i.e., the women)!'
