حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مَعْمَرٌ عَنْ أَبِي الزِّنَادِ عَنِ ابْنِ جَرْهَدٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ مَرّ

َ بِي رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَأَنَا كَاشِفٌ فَخِذِي فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ غَطِّهَا فَإِنَّهَا مِنْ الْعَوْرَةِ

English Translation
ʿAbd al-Razzāq narrated to us, he said: Maʿmar narrated to us, from Abū al-Zinād, from Ibn Jarhad, from his father, who said: The Messenger of Allāh ﷺ passed by me while I was exposing my thigh. the Prophet ﷺ said: 'Cover your thigh, for it is ʿawrah.'
