حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ دَاوُدَ الطَّيَالِسِيُّ قَالَ وَحَدَّثَنَا الضَّحَّاكُ بْنُ يَسَارٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللّ
َهِ بْنِ الشِّخِّيرِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ صُحَارٍ الْعَبْدِيُّ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ اسْتَأْذَنْتُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنْ يَأْذَنَ لِي فِي جَرَّةٍ أَنْتَبِذُ فِيهَا فَرَخَّصَ لِي فِيهَا أَوْ أَذِنَ لِي فِيهَا

English Translation
Sulaymān ibn Dāwūd al-Ṭayālisī narrated to us, and al-Ḍaḥḥāk ibn Yasār narrated to us, he said: Yazīd ibn ʿAbdillāh ibn al-Shikhkhīr narrated to us, he said: ʿAbd al-Raḥmān ibn Ṣuḥār al-ʿAbdī narrated to us, from his father, who said: I sought permission from the Prophet ﷺ to touch his hand (to confirm a burn), and he permitted me. I put my hand inside his shirt and touched the seal of Prophethood. He (the narrator) said: Like the button — or like an egg.
