قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ مَهْدِيٍّ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عِيسَى قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي عَطَاءٌ رَجُلٌ كَانَ يَكُونُ بِالسَّاحِلِ عَن
ْ أَبِي أُسَيْدٍ أَوْ أَبِي أَسِيدِ بْنِ ثَابِتٍ شَكَّ سُفْيَانُ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ كُلُوا الزَّيْتَ وَادَّهِنُوا بِالزَّيْتِ فَإِنَّهُ مِنْ شَجَرَةٍ مُبَارَكَةٍ

English Translation
ʿAbd al-Raḥmān ibn Mahdī narrated to us: Sufyān narrated to us, from ʿAbdullāh ibn ʿĪsā: ʿAṭāʾ — a man who used to live on the coast — narrated to me, from Abū Usayd or Abū Asīd ibn Thābit — Sufyān was uncertain — that the Prophet ﷺ said: 'Eat olive oil and anoint yourselves with it, for it is from a blessed tree.'
