قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا هَاشِمٌ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي ذِئْبٍ وَيَزِيدُ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي ذِئْبٍ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ خَ
الَدٍ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيِّبِ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ عُثْمَانَ قَالَ ذَكَرَ طَبِيبٌ الدَّوَاءَ عِنْدَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَذَكَرَ الضُّفْدَعَ تَكُونُ فِي الدَّوَاءِ فَنَهَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنْ قَتْلِهَا

English Translation
Hāshim narrated to us, from Ibn Abī Dhiʾb; and Yazīd said: Ibn Abī Dhiʾb informed us, from Saʿīd ibn Khālid, from Saʿīd ibn al-Musayyib, from ʿAbd al-Raḥmān ibn ʿUthmān, who said: A physician mentioned medicine in the presence of the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ and mentioned a frog being used in medicine. The Messenger of Allāh ﷺ forbade killing the frog.
