حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عَجْلَانَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي عَامِرُ

بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِذَا جَلَسَ فِي التَّشَهُّدِ وَضَعَ يَدَهُ الْيُمْنَى عَلَى فَخِذِهِ الْيُمْنَى وَيَدَهُ الْيُسْرَى عَلَى فَخِذِهِ الْيُسْرَى وَأَشَارَ بِالسَّبَّابَةِ وَلَمْ يُجَاوِزْ بَصَرُهُ إِشَارَتَهُ

English Translation

Yaḥyā ibn Saʿīd narrated to us, from Ibn ʿAjlān, ʿĀmir ibn ʿAbdullāh ibn al-Zubayr narrated to me, from his father who said: When the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ sat for the tashahhud, he placed his right hand on his right thigh and his left hand on his left thigh.
