حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ عَنِ ابْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ أَنَّ زَمْع
َةَ كَانَتْ لَهُ جَارِيَةٌ فَكَانَ يَطَؤُهَا وَكَانُوا يَتَّهِمُونَهَا فَوَلَدَتْ فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لِسَوْدَةَ أَمَّا الْمِيرَاثُ فَلَهُ وَأَمَّا أَنْتِ فَاحْتَجِبِي مِنْهُ يَا سَوْدَةُ فَإِنَّهُ لَيْسَ لَكِ بِأَخٍ

English Translation
ʿAbd al-Razzāq narrated to us, Sufyān informed us, from Manṣūr, from Mujāhid, from Ibn al-Zubayr: that Zamʿah had a slave girl whom he used to be intimate with, and they suspected her [of being with another man]. She gave birth, and the Prophet ﷺ said to Sawdah: 'As for the inheritance, it belongs to him. But veil yourself from him, O Sawdah, for he is not your brother.'
