قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا أَيُّوبُ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَبِي مُلَيْكَةَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي عُبَيْدُ بْنُ أَبِي مَرْيَمَ عَنْ عُقْبَةَ بْنِ الْحَارِثِ قَالَ وَقَدْ سَمِعْتُهُ مِنْ عُقْبَةَ وَلَكِنِّي لِحَدِيثِ عُبَيْدٍ أَحْفَظُ قَالَ تَزَوَّجْتُ فَجَاءَتْنَا امْرَأَةٌ سَوْدَاءُ فَقَالَتْ إِنِّي قَدْ أَرْضَعْتُكُمَا فَأَتَيْتُ النّ
َبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقُلْتُ إِنِّي تَزَوَّجْتُ امْرَأَةً فُلَانَةَ ابْنَةَ فُلَانٍ فَجَاءَتْنَا امْرَأَةٌ سَوْدَاءُ فَقَالَتْ إِنِّي أَرْضَعْتُكُمَا وَهِيَ كَافِرَةٌ فَأَعْرَضَ عَنِّي فَأَتَيْتُهُ مِنْ قِبَلِ وَجْهِهِ فَقُلْتُ إِنَّهَا كَاذِبَةٌ فَقَالَ لِي كَيْفَ بِهَا وَقَدْ زَعَمَتْ أَنَّهَا أَرْضَعَتْكُمَا دَعْهَا عَنْكَ

English Translation
Ismāʿīl ibn Ibrāhīm narrated to us, Ayyūb informed us, from ʿAbdullāh ibn Abī Mulaykah, he said: ʿUbayd ibn Abī Maryam narrated to me, from ʿUqbah ibn al-Ḥārith — and [Ibn Abī Mulaykah said:] I also heard it from ʿUqbah directly, but I remember ʿUbayd's narration better — he said: I married a woman, and a black woman came to us and said: 'I breastfed both of you.' I went to the Prophet ﷺ and said: 'I married such-and-such woman, daughter of such-and-such man, and a black woman came to us and said she breastfed us, but she is a liar.' He turned away from me. I came before his face and said: 'She is a liar.' He said to me: 'How [can you continue] when she has claimed she breastfed you both? Leave her.'
