Hadith #362

English Translation

Muḥammad ibn Jaʿfar narrated to us, Shuʿbah narrated to us, from Yaʿlā ibn ʿAṭāʾ, from Wakīʿ ibn ʿUdus, from his uncle Abū Razīn who said: I said: 'O Messenger of Allāh, where is my mother?' He said: 'Your mother is in the Fire.' I said: 'Then where are those of your family who have passed?' He said: 'Would it not please you that your mother is with my mother?' My father [Aḥmad] said: The correct [pronunciation] is Ḥudus.
