‏ ‏قَالَ ‏ ‏وَسَمِعْتُهُ يَقُولُ ‏ ‏صَدَقَتُكَ ‏ ‏عَلَى الْمِسْكِينِ ‏ ‏صَدَقَةٌ ‏ ‏وَهِيَ عَلَى ذِي الرَّحِمِ ثِنْتَانِ ‏ ‏صَدَقَةٌ ‏ ‏وَصِلَةٌ ‏

English Translation

He (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that and I heard him say: "Your charity given to a poor person is charity, and charity given to a relative is two things: charity and maintaining kinship."
