حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ يَعْنِي ابْنَ سَلَمَةَ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا أَيُّوبُ وحَبِيبٌ وَيُونُسُ وَقَتَادَةُ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سِ
يرِينَ عَنْ سَلْمَانَ بْنِ عَامِرٍ الضَّبِّيِّ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ فِي الْغُلَامِ عَقِيقَتُهُ فَأَهْرِيقُوا عَنْهُ دَمًا وَأَمِيطُوا عَنْهُ الْأَذَى

English Translation
ʿAffān narrated to us, Ḥammād — meaning Ibn Salamah — narrated to us, he said: Ayyūb, Ḥabīb, Yūnus, and Qatādah informed us, from Muḥammad ibn Sīrīn, from Salmān ibn ʿĀmir al-Ḍabbī, that the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ said: "With the boy is his ʿaqīqah, so shed blood on his behalf and remove the harm from him."
