English Translation

ʿAbd al-Wahhāb informed us, he said: Saʿīd informed us, from Qatādah, from Muṭarrif ibn ʿAbdillāh, from his father, that he heard the Prophet ﷺ say: "The son of Ādam says: 'My wealth, my wealth!' But what is yours from your wealth except what you ate and thus consumed, or what you wore and thus wore out, or what you gave in charity and thus sent forth?"
