حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ عَنِ الْوَلِيدِ بْنِ كَثِيرٍ عَنْ وَهْبِ
بْنِ كَيْسَانَ عَنْ عُمَرَ بْنِ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ قَالَ قَالَ لِي النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَا غُلَامُ سَمِّ اللَّهَ وَكُلْ بِيَمِينِكَ وَكُلْ مِمَّا يَلِيكَ فَلَمْ تَزَلْ تِلْكَ طُعْمَتِي بَعْدُ وَكَانَتْ يَدِي تَطِيشُ

English Translation
Sufyān ibn ʿUyaynah narrated to us, from al-Walīd ibn Kathīr, from Wahb ibn Kaysān, from ʿUmar ibn Abī Salamah who said: the Prophet ﷺ said to me: "O boy, say the name of Allāh, eat with your right hand, and eat from what is nearest to you." That has remained my way of eating ever since, and my hand used to roam around [the plate].
