Hadith #51
Arabic Text
حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ زُرَيْعٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا خَالِدٌ الْحَذَّاءُ عَنْ أَبِي عُثْمَانَ عَنْ مُجَاشِعِ بْنِ مَسْعُودٍ
قَالَ قُلْتُ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ هَذَا مُجَالِدُ بْنُ مَسْعُودٍ يُبَايِعُكَ عَلَى الْهِجْرَةِ قَالَ لَا هِجْرَةَ بَعْدَ فَتْحِ مَكَّةَ وَلَكِنْ أُبَايِعُهُ عَلَى الْإِسْلَامِ

English Translation
ʿAffān narrated to us, Yazīd ibn Zurayʿ narrated to us, he said: Khālid al-Ḥadhdhāʾ narrated to us, from Abū ʿUthmān, from Mujāshiʿ ibn Masʿūd, who said: I said: 'O Messenger of Allāh, this is Mujālid ibn Masʿūd pledging allegiance to you for hijrah.' He said: 'There is no hijrah after the conquest of Makkah, but I accept his pledge for Islam and faith.'
