حَدَّثَنَا مُعَاذُ بْنُ مُعَاذٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ أَبِي عَرُوبَةَ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ عَنْ أَبِي طَلْحَةَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ إِذَا غَلَبَ قَوْمًا أَحَبَّ أَنْ يُقِيمَ بِعَرْصَتِهِمْ ثَلَاثًا
English Translation
Muʿādh ibn Muʿādh narrated to us, he said: Saʿīd ibn Abī ʿArūbah narrated to us, from Qatādah, from Anas ibn Mālik, from Abū Ṭalḥah, that the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ, when he conquered a people, liked to stay in their territory for three days.
