English Translation

Muḥammad ibn Jaʿfar narrated to us, Shuʿbah narrated to us, from Khālid, from Abū Qilābah, from Thābit ibn al-Ḍaḥḥāk — who was among the Companions of the Tree — then he said afterward: or from a man, from Thābit ibn al-Ḍaḥḥāk, from the Prophet ﷺ, that he said: 'Whoever swears by a religion other than Islam while lying and deliberately, he is as he said. And whoever kills himself with something — or slaughters himself — Allāh will slaughter him with it in the Fire of Hell.'
