Chain of Narration (Isnad)

حَدَّثَنَا هُشَيْمٌ عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ قَالَ لَمَّا احْتُضِرَ سَلْمَانُ بَكَى وَقَالَ إِنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَهِدَ إِلَيْ

نَا عَهْدًا فَتَرَكْنَا مَا عَهِدَ إِلَيْنَا أَنْ يَكُونَ بُلْغَةُ أَحَدِنَا مِنْ الدُّنْيَا كَزَادِ الرَّاكِبِ قَالَ ثُمَّ نَظَرْنَا فِيمَا تَرَكَ فَإِذَا قِيمَةُ مَا تَرَكَ بِضْعَةٌ وَعِشْرُونَ دِرْهَمًا أَوْ بِضْعَةٌ وَثَلَاثُونَ دِرْهَمًا

English Translation

It was narrated from Salman al-Farisi (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ gave guidance and instruction.
