English Translation
It was narrated from Jabir ibn 'Atik (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'There is jealousy that Allah loves and jealousy that Allah hates. The jealousy that Allah loves is jealousy in a matter of genuine doubt. The jealousy that Allah hates is jealousy in a matter free of doubt. And there is pride that Allah loves and pride that Allah hates — the pride that Allah loves is a man's pride in fighting Allah's enemies, and the pride that Allah hates is pride in falsehood.'
