حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْمُغِيرَةِ قَالَ حَدَّث

َنَا صَفْوَانُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ جُبَيْرِ بْنِ نُفَيْرٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ عَوْفِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ الْأَشْجَعِيِّ وَخَالِدِ بْنِ الْوَلِيدِ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَمْ يُخَمِّسْ السَّلَبَ

English Translation

It was narrated from Awf ibn Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'Allah will never combine against this ummah two swords simultaneously — a sword from among them and a sword from their enemies.'
