حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْمُنْتَشِرِ عَنْ أَبِيهِ أَنَّهُ سَأَلَ ابْنَ عُمَرَ عَنْ الرَّجُلِ يَتَطَيَّبُ عِنْدَ إِحْرَامِه
ِ فَقَالَ لَأَنْ أَطَّلِيَ بِقَطِرَانٍ أَحَبُّ إِلَيَّ مِنْ أَنْ أَفْعَلَهُ قَالَ فَسَأَلَ أَبِي عَائِشَةَ وَأَخْبَرَهَا بِقَوْلِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ فَقَالَتْ يَرْحَمُ اللَّهُ أَبَا عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ كُنْتُ أُطَيِّبُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ثُمَّ يَطُوفُ عَلَى نِسَائِهِ ثُمَّ يُصْبِحُ مُحْرِمًا يَنْتَضِحُ طِيبًا

English Translation
It was narrated from Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that when Ibn Umar refused to use perfume before entering ihram, she said: "May Allah have mercy on Abu Abd al-Rahman. I used to perfume the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and he would then visit all his wives, and in the morning he was in ihram with the perfume still gleaming."
