حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ مَهْدِيٍّ عَنْ مَالِكٍ عَ

نِ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ عُرْوَةَ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ مَا خُيِّرَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بَيْنَ أَمْرَيْنِ قَطُّ إِلَّا اخْتَارَ أَيْسَرَهُمَا إِلَّا أَنْ يَكُونَ فِيهِ إِثْمٌ فَإِنْ كَانَ إِثْمًا كَانَ أَبْعَدَ النَّاسِ مِنْهُ

English Translation
It was narrated from Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that she said: "Whenever the Messenger of Allah ﷺ was given a choice between two matters, he always chose the easier of the two, unless it involved sin — in which case he was the furthest of people from it."
