حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ عَنْ يَحْيَى عَنْ عَمْرَةَ سَمِعْتُ عَائِشَةَ تَقُولُ لَوْ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ رَأَى مَا أَحْدَثَ النِّسَاءُ مَنَ

عَهُنَّ كَمَا مُنِعَ نِسَاءُ بَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ قَالَ قُلْتُ لِعَمْرَةَ وَنِسَاءُ بَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ مُنِعْنَ الْمَسْجِدَ وَقَالَ نَعَمْ

English Translation

It was narrated from Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that she said: "We would surely have prevented women from the mosque as the women of the Children of Israel were prevented."
