حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ قَالَ وَزَعَمَ عَطَاءٌ أَنَّ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ مَا مَاتَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْ
هِ وَسَلَّمَ حَتَّى أَحَلَّ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ لَهُ أَنْ يَنْكِحَ مَا شَاءَ قُلْتُ عَمَّنْ تَأْثُرُ هَذَا قَالَ لَا أَدْرِي حَسِبْتُ أَنِّي سَمِعْتُ عُبَيْدَ بْنَ عُمَيْرٍ يَقُولُ ذَلِكَ

English Translation
It was narrated from Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) regarding a matter of the Prophet ﷺ: until Allah, the Mighty and Majestic, permitted him to marry whomever He willed. The narrator said: 'I asked about its source and he replied: I do not know — I believe I heard Ubayd ibn Umayr say that.'
