حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي طَلْحَةُ بْنُ يَحْيَى بْنِ طَلْحَةَ بْنِ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ عَنْ عَمَّتِهِ عَائِشَةَ بِنْتِ طَلْحَةَ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ أُمِّ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ قَالَتْ دُعِيَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إ
ِلَى جَنَازَةِ غُلَامٍ مِنْ الْأَنْصَارِ فَقُلْتُ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ طُوبَى لِهَذَا عُصْفُورٌ مِنْ عَصَافِيرِ الْجَنَّةِ لَمْ يُدْرِكْ الشَّرَّ وَلَمْ يَعْمَلْهُ قَالَ أَوَ غَيْرُ ذَلِكَ يَا عَائِشَةُ إِنَّ اللَّهَ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ خَلَقَ لِلْجَنَّةِ أَهْلًا خَلَقَهَا لَهُمْ وَهُمْ فِي أَصْلَابِ آبَائِهِمْ وَخَلَقَ لِلنَّارِ أَهْلًا خَلَقَهَا لَهُمْ وَهُمْ فِي أَصْلَابِ آبَائِهِمْ

English Translation
It was narrated from Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that she was present at the funeral of a boy from the Ansar and she said: 'O Messenger of Allah, how blessed this one is — a little bird from the birds of Paradise who has not reached the age of wrongdoing nor committed any.' He said: 'Or it may be otherwise, O Aisha. Allah, the Mighty and Majestic, created people for Paradise and created them for it while they were still in the loins of their fathers. And He created people for the Fire and created them for it while they were still in the loins of their fathers.'
