English Translation
It was narrated from Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that she said: 'When the Messenger of Allah ﷺ slaughtered his sacrificial animals on Eid, he would buy two large, fat, horned, black-and-white, castrated rams. He would slaughter one of them on behalf of his ummah — those who affirmed the oneness of Allah and bore witness that he had conveyed the message — and slaughter the other on behalf of Muhammad and the family of Muhammad.'
