‏ ‏قَالَ ‏ ‏قَرَأْتُ عَلَى ‏ ‏عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ ‏ ‏: ‏ ‏مَالِكٌ ‏ ‏عَنْ ‏ ‏يَحْيَى بْنِ سَعِيدٍ الْأَنْصَارِيِّ ‏ ‏عَنْ ‏ ‏عَمْرَةَ بِنْتِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ ‏ ‏عَنْ ‏ ‏عَائِشَةَ زَوْجِ النَّبِيِّ ‏ ‏صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ‏ ‏أَنَّهَا قَالَتْ ‏ ‏إِنْ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ‏ ‏صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ‏ ‏لَيُصَلِّي الصُّبْحَ فَيَنْصَرِفُ النِّسَاءُ ‏ ‏مُتَلَفِّعَاتٌ ‏ ‏بِمُرُوطِهِنَّ ‏ ‏مَا يُعْرَفْنَ مِنْ ‏ ‏الْغَلَسِ ‏

English Translation

It was narrated from Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her), the wife of the Prophet ﷺ, that she said: "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to pray Fajr, and women wrapped in their garments would depart — they could not be recognized because of the darkness before dawn."
