Hadith #459
Arabic Text
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مَالِكٌ وَإِسْحَاقُ يَعْنِي ابْنَ عِيسَى الطَّبَّاعَ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا مَالِكٌ عَنْ أَبِي النَّضْرِ عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ كُنْتُ أَنَامُ بَيْنَ يَدَيْ النّ
َبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَرِجْلَيَّ فِي قِبْلَتِهِ فَإِذَا أَرَادَ أَنْ يَسْجُدَ غَمَزَنِي فَقَبَضْتُ رِجْلَيَّ فَإِذَا قَامَ بَسَطْتُهَا قَالَتْ وَلَمْ يَكُنْ فِي الْبُيُوتِ يَوْمَئِذٍ مَصَابِيحُ

English Translation
It was narrated from Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that she said: 'I would lie with my legs stretched toward the qiblah of the Prophet ﷺ. When he wanted to prostrate he would nudge me and I would pull my legs in. When he stood up I would stretch them out again.' She said: 'At that time there were no lamps in the houses.'
