English Translation

It was narrated from Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) or Abu Hurayra that when the Prophet ﷺ wanted to slaughter his sacrificial animals, he would buy two large, fat, black-and-white, horned, castrated rams. He would slaughter one on behalf of his ummah — those who affirmed the oneness of Allah and bore witness that he had conveyed the message — and the other on behalf of Muhammad and the family of Muhammad.
