English Translation

It was narrated from Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, whenever he felt distressed during his illness, would cover his face. When distress intensified, he uncovered his face and said: 'May the curse of Allah be upon the Jews and Christians — they took the graves of their prophets as places of worship.' She said: 'He was warning against doing what they did.'
