English Translation

It was narrated from Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that she said: 'I never saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ recite during any part of the night prayer while seated — until he grew older. Then he would sit and recite until thirty or forty verses remained of the surah, then he would stand and recite them, then bow.'
