English Translation

It was narrated from Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that she said: "A month would pass during which not a single fire was seen in any of the houses of the Prophet ﷺ." When asked what they ate, she said: "The two black ones — dates and water. But the Prophet ﷺ had sincere neighbors from the Ansar who had milk animals and would send him milk from them."
