حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَهَّابِ الثَّقَفِيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا خَالِدٌ عَن

ْ رَجُلٍ عَنْ عُمَرَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ أَنَّهُ قَالَ مَا اسْتَقْبَلْتُ الْقِبْلَةَ بِفَرْجِي مُنْذُ كَذَا وَكَذَا فَحَدَّثَ عِرَاكُ بْنُ مَالِكٍ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَمَرَ بِخَلَائِهِ أَنْ يُسْتَقْبَلَ بِهِ الْقِبْلَةَ لَمَّا بَلَغَهُ أَنَّ النَّاسَ يَكْرَهُونَ ذَلِكَ

English Translation

It was narrated from Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Prophet ﷺ, when it reached him that people disliked facing the qiblah with one's private parts, commanded that his toilet be turned to face the qiblah.
