حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ حَدَّثَنَا شَرِيكٌ عَنْ سِمَاكٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَيْرَةَ عَنْ زَوْجِ دُرَّةَ بِنْتِ أَبِي لَهَبٍ عَنْ دُرَّةَ بِنْتِ أَبِي لَهَبٍ قَالَتْ قَام
َ رَجُلٌ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَهُوَ عَلَى الْمِنْبَرِ فَقَالَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ أَيُّ النَّاسِ خَيْرٌ فَقَالَ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ خَيْرُ النَّاسِ أَقْرَؤُهُمْ وَأَتْقَاهُمْ وَآمَرُهُمْ بِالْمَعْرُوفِ وَأَنْهَاهُمْ عَنْ الْمُنْكَرِ وَأَوْصَلُهُمْ لِلرَّحِمِ

English Translation
It was narrated from a female Companion (may Allah be pleased with her) that a man came to the Prophet ﷺ while he was on the pulpit and said: "O Messenger of Allah, who are the best of people?" He ﷺ said: "The best of people are those who recite the most Quran, are the most God-fearing, command the most good, forbid the most evil, and maintain the most ties of kinship."
