حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ مَيْسَرَةَ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي سُوَيْدٍ عَنْ عُمَرَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ قَالَ زَعَمَتْ الْمَرْأَةُ الصَّالِحَةُ خَوْلَةُ بِنْتُ حَكِيمٍ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ خَرَجَ مُحْتَضِنًا أَح
َدَ ابْنَيْ ابْنَتِهِ وَهُوَ يَقُولُ وَاللَّهِ إِنَّكُمْ لَتُجَبِّنُونَ وَتُبَخِّلُونَ وَإِنَّكُمْ لَمِنْ رَيْحَانِ اللَّهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ وَإِنَّ آخِرَ وَطْأَةٍ وَطِئَهَا اللَّهُ بِوَجٍّ وَقَالَ سُفْيَانُ مَرَّةً إِنَّكُمْ لَتُبَخِّلُونَ وَإِنَّكُمْ لَتُجَبِّنُونَ

English Translation
It was narrated that a man from the Companions said, while carrying his grandson: "By Allah, you are indeed cowardly and miserly — yet you are from the fragrance of Allah the Almighty. And the last strike that Allah struck was at Wajj." He also said: "You are indeed miserly and cowardly."
