حَدَّثَنَا يَعْقُوبُ حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي عَنِ ابْنِ إِسْحَاقَ حَدَّثَنِي عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ أَبِي بَكْرِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَمْرِو بْنِ حَزْمٍ عَنْ

يَحْيَى بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ سَعْدِ بْنِ زُرَارَةَ عَنْ أُمِّ هِشَامٍ بِنْتِ حَارِثَةَ قَالَتْ لَقَدْ كَانَ تَنُّورُنَا وَتَنُّورُ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَاحِدًا سَنَتَيْنِ أَوْ سَنَةً وَبَعْضَ سَنَةٍ وَمَا أَخَذْتُ ق وَالْقُرْآنِ الْمَجِيدِ إِلَّا عَلَى لِسَانِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ يَقْرَأُ بِهَا كُلَّ يَوْمِ جُمُعَةٍ عَلَى الْمِنْبَرِ إِذَا خَطَبَ النَّاسَ

English Translation

It was narrated from Umm Hisham bint Haritha (may Allah be pleased with her) that she said: "Our bread oven and the oven of the Prophet ﷺ were one for two years, or a year and part of a year. I did not learn Surah Qaf and the Majestic Quran except from the tongue of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ — he used to recite it every Friday on the pulpit when he addressed the people."
