‏ ‏حَدَّثَنَا ‏ ‏مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَكْرٍ ‏ ‏أَخْبَرَنَا ‏ ‏ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ ‏ ‏أَخْبَرَنِي ‏ ‏عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ أَبِي يَزِيدَ ‏ ‏أَنَّ ‏ ‏عَبْدَ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنَ طَارِقِ بْنِ عَلْقَمَةَ ‏ ‏أَخْبَرَهُ عَنْ ‏ ‏أُمِّهِ ‏ ‏أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ‏ ‏صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ‏ ‏كَانَ إِذَا دَخَلَ مَكَانًا مِنْ دَارِ ‏ ‏يَعْلَى ‏ ‏نَسَبَهُ ‏ ‏عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ ‏ ‏اسْتَقْبَلَ الْبَيْتَ فَدَعَا ‏

English Translation

It was narrated from the mother of Abd al-Rahman ibn Tariq ibn Alqama (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Prophet ﷺ, whenever he entered a room in the house of Ya'la — as identified by Ubayd Allah — would face the Ka'ba and supplicate.
