حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ الْأَنْصَارِيُّ أَنَّ عُمَرَ بْنَ كَثِيرِ بْنِ أَفْلَحَ أَخْبَرَهُ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ عُبَيْدَ سَنُوطَا يُحَدِّثُ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ خَوْلَةَ بِنْتَ قَيْسٍ وَقَدْ قَالَ خَوْلَةُ الْأَنْصَارِي
َّةُ الَّتِي كَانَتْ عِنْدَ حَمْزَةَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْمُطَّلِبِ تُحَدِّثُ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ دَخَلَ عَلَى حَمْزَةَ بَيْتَهُ فَتَذَاكَرُوا الدُّنْيَا فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِنَّ الدُّنْيَا خَضِرَةٌ حُلْوَةٌ مَنْ أَخَذَهَا بِحَقِّهَا بُورِكَ لَهُ فِيهَا وَرُبَّ مُتَخَوِّضٍ فِي مَالِ اللَّهِ وَمَالِ رَسُولِهِ لَهُ النَّارُ يَوْمَ يَلْقَى اللَّهَ

English Translation
It was narrated from a woman who had been the wife of Hamza ibn Abd al-Muttalib (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ entered upon Hamza at his house, and they discussed worldly matters. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "Indeed the world is green and sweet. Whoever takes it by right, Allah will bless him in it. But many a person plunges into the wealth of Allah and His Messenger — for him is the Fire on the Day he meets Allah."
