English Translation
It was narrated from Umm al-Darda (may Allah be pleased with her) that Abu al-Darda said: "Carry me out." So they carried him out. He said: "Sit me up." So they sat him up. He said: "O people, I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say: 'Whoever performs ablution properly and then prays two rak'ahs completing them properly, Allah will give him whatever he asks — whether immediately or later.'" Abu al-Darda said: "O people, beware of turning your gaze during prayer, for there is no prayer for one who turns his gaze. But if you are overpowered in voluntary prayer, do not allow yourselves to be overpowered in the obligatory prayer."
