حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنِ الْحَكَمِ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَبَا عُمَرَ الصِّينِيَّ عَنْ أَبِي الدَّرْدَاءِ أَنَّهُ إِذَا كَانَ نَزَلَ بِهِ ضَيْفٌ قَالَ يَقُولُ لَهُ أَبُو الدَّرْدَاءِ مُقِيمٌ فَنُسْرِجُ أَوْ ظَاعِنٌ فَنَعْلِفُ قَالَ فَإِنْ قَالَ لَهُ ظَاعِنٌ قَالَ لَهُ مَا أَجِدُ لَكَ شَيْئًا خَي
ْرًا مِنْ شَيْءٍ أَمَرَنَا بِهِ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قُلْنَا يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ذَهَبَ الْأَغْنِيَاءُ بِالْأَجْرِ يَحُجُّونَ وَلَا نَحُجُّ وَيُجَاهِدُونَ وَلَا نُجَاهِدُ وَكَذَا وَكَذَا فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَلَا أَدُلُّكُمْ عَلَى شَيْءٍ إِنْ أَخَذْتُمْ بِهِ جِئْتُمْ مِنْ أَفْضَلِ مَا يَجِيءُ بِهِ أَحَدٌ مِنْهُمْ أَنْ تُكَبِّرُوا اللَّهَ أَرْبَعًا وَثَلَاثِينَ وَتُسَبِّحُوهُ ثَلَاثًا وَثَلَاثِينَ وَتَحْمَدُوهُ ثَلَاثًا وَثَلَاثِينَ فِي دُبُرِ كُلِّ صَلَاةٍ

English Translation
It was narrated from Abu al-Darda (may Allah be pleased with him) that they said: "O Messenger of Allah, the wealthy have taken the reward — they perform Hajj and we cannot, they fight in jihad and we cannot, and so on." The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "Shall I not direct you to something such that if you do it you will come with the best that any of them comes with? Glorify Allah thirty-four times, exalt Him thirty-three times, and praise Him thirty-three times."
