Chain of Narration (Isnad)
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ أَخْبَرَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ السَّائِبِ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ السُّلَمِيِّ قَال

َ كَانَ فِينَا رَجُلٌ فَذَكَرَ الْحَدِيثَ قَالَ فَرَحَلَ إِلَى أَبِي الدَّرْدَاءِ فَقَالَ سَمِعْتُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ الْوَالِدُ أَوْسَطُ أَبْوَابِ الْجَنَّةِ

English Translation
It was narrated from a man who came to Abu al-Darda (may Allah be pleased with him) and said: "I heard the Prophet ﷺ say: 'A father is the middle gate of the gates of Paradise.'"
