English Translation

It was narrated from Abu al-Darda (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to say: "The supplication of a Muslim for his brother in his absence is answered. At his head is an angel assigned to him — whenever he supplicates for his brother with something good, the angel says: 'Amin, and the same for you.'" He said: "I then went to the marketplace and met Abu al-Darda, who narrated it to me from the Prophet ﷺ similarly."
