حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ قَالَ ثَنَا مُعَاوِيَةُ يَعْنِى ابْنَ صَالِحٍ عَنِ الْمُهَاجِرِ مَوْلَى أَسْمَاءَ بِنْتِ يَزِيدَ الْأَنْصَارِيَّةِ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَسْمَاءَ بِنْتَ يَزِيدَ تَقُولُ سَمِعْتُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَل
َيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ لَا تَقْتُلُوا أَوْلَادَكُمْ سِرًّا فَوَالَّذِي نَفْسِي بِيَدِهِ إِنَّهُ لَيُدْرِكُ الْفَارِسَ فَيُدَعْثِرُهُ قَالَتْ قُلْتُ مَا يَعْنِي قَالَ الْغِيلَةُ يَأْتِي الرَّجُلُ امْرَأَتَهُ وَهِيَ تُرْضِعُ

English Translation
It was narrated from Asma bint Yazid (may Allah be pleased with her) that she heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say: "Do not kill your children secretly, for by Him in Whose Hand is my soul, it can overtake a horseman and unseat him." She said: "I asked: 'What does he mean?' He said: 'Al-Ghayl — a man who goes to his wife while she is nursing.'"
