حَدَّثَنَا عَارِمٌ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ الْمُبَارَكِ عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَبِي زِيَادٍ عَنْ شَهْرِ بْنِ حَ

وْشَبٍ عَنْ أَسْمَاءَ بِنْتِ يَزِيدَ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ مَنْ ذَبَّ عَنْ لَحْمِ أَخِيهِ بِالْغِيبَةِ كَانَ حَقًّا عَلَى اللَّهِ أَنْ يُعْتِقَهُ مِنْ النَّارِ

English Translation
It was narrated from Asma bint Yazid (may Allah be pleased with her) from the Prophet ﷺ that he said: "Whoever defends his brother's honor against backbiting, it is incumbent upon Allah to free him from the Fire."
