حَدَّثَنَا زَكَرِيَّا بْنُ عَدِيٍّ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ مُبَارَكٍ عَنْ يُونُسَ عَنِ الزُّه

ْرِيِّ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيَّبِ عَنْ صَفْوَانَ بْنِ أُمَيَّةَ قَالَ أَعْطَانِي رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَوْمَ حُنَيْنٍ وَإِنَّهُ لَأَبْغَضُ النَّاسِ إِلَيَّ فَمَا زَالَ يُعْطِينِي حَتَّى صَارَ وَإِنَّهُ لَأَحَبُّ النَّاسِ إِلَيَّ

English Translation
It was narrated from Safwan ibn Umayya (may Allah be pleased with him) that he said: "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ gave to me on the day of Hunayn while he was the most hated person to me. He kept giving to me until he became the most beloved person to me."
