حَدَّثَنَا سُرَيْجٌ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ الْمُؤَمَّلِ عَنْ عُمَرَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْ
نِ أَبِي رَبَاحٍ عَنْ صَفِيَّةَ بِنْتِ شَيْبَةَ عَنْ حَبِيبَةَ بِنْتِ أَبِي تَجْرَاةَ قَالَتْ رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَطُوفُ بَيْنَ الصَّفَا وَالْمَرْوَةِ وَالنَّاسُ بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ وَهُوَ وَرَاءَهُمْ وَهُوَ يَسْعَى حَتَّى أَرَى رُكْبَتَيْهِ مِنْ شِدَّةِ السَّعْيِ يَدُورُ بِهِ إِزَارُهُ وَهُوَ يَقُولُ اسْعَوْا فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ كَتَبَ عَلَيْكُمْ السَّعْيَ

English Translation
It was narrated from Habiba bint Abi Tajra'a (may Allah be pleased with her) that she said: "I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ performing sa'y between al-Safa and al-Marwa with people in front of him and him behind them. He was walking so briskly that I could see his knees from the intensity of the pace, with his lower garment swirling around him, and he was saying: 'Walk briskly, for Allah has prescribed the sa'y for you.'"
