حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدَةُ بْنُ حُمَيْدٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي يَزِيدُ بْنُ أَبِي زِيَادٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ ال

لَّهِ بْنِ الْحَارِثِ قَالَ سَأَلْتُهُ عَنْ صَلَاةِ الضُّحَى فَقَالَ سَأَلْتُ أَصْحَابَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنْهَا فَلَمْ أَجِدْ أَحَدًا يُخْبِرُنِي أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ صَلَّاهَا إِلَّا أَنَّ أُمَّ هَانِئٍ أَخْبَرَتْنِي أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ دَخَلَ عَلَيْهَا فَصَلَّى ثَمَانِيَ رَكَعَاتٍ فَلَمْ أَرَهُ صَلَّى قَبْلَهَا وَلَا بَعْدَهَا

English Translation

It was narrated from Abd Allah ibn al-Harith that a man asked him about the forenoon prayer. He said: "I asked the Companions of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ about it and could not find anyone to tell me that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ performed it, except that Umm Hani told me that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ entered upon her and prayed eight rak'ahs. I never saw him pray it before or after that."
